2017 KSU MATH AWARDS

KSU holds an annual mathematics competition for high school students.

Students solve mathematics problems and winners are determined by the correctly solved problems. Over 1800 students competed for awards this school year. We had the 1st place winner for the state and 7 Honorable Mentions that ranked in the top 2% of competitors. Winners for the KSU Mathematics Competition for 2017 are:

  • Daniel Chu, Kennesaw Mt. HS 1st Place Plaque Winner and recipient of $100! Daniel beat out 1800+ students for 1st place!
  • Robert Ross, Allatoona HS Honorable Mention Plaque Winner
  • Michael Peng, Campbell HS Honorable Mention Plaque Winner
  • Sean Engelstad, Kennesaw Mt. HS Honorable Mention Plaque Winner
  • Paul Shao, Lassiter HS Honorable Mention Plaque Winner
  • Daniel Shu, Walton HS Honorable Mention Plaque Winner
  • William Zheng, Walton HS Honorable Mention Plaque Winner
