Hillgrove 2nd at FBLA Regional!

Hillgrove High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) team placed second at region competitions which was held on January 11, 2017.


Hillgrove High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) team placed second at region competitions which was held on January 11, 2017. The region includes schools from Carroll, Cobb, Douglas, Heard, Paulding and Polk counties. Hillgrove students also plan to compete against other students at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in March.

At region competitions, Hillgrove students competed in various areas such as accounting, business calculations, business plan, entrepreneurship, financial math, marketing, web page design and business presentation skills.

This is the fourth year competing, and each year students have encouraged each other to increase their knowledge and participation. This year 30 students compete in 20 different categories.

The region includes schools from Carroll, Cobb, Douglas, Heard, Paulding and Polk counties.
