Cobb students are dynamic writers.
Each year, students submit their writing to the CCSD ELA Writing Fair. This year, over 100, K-12 entries were submitted. In March, the Cobb ELA team honored 36 dynamic writers. The CCSD Writing Fair, which takes place in the spring, is a celebration of authentic student writing experiences and student voice. Not only does this celebration supports lifelong writing it brings schools, families, and communities together. The Cobb ELA team is so proud of the teachers who are committed to building writers that advocate for change, teach lessons, and bring attention to those topics that might otherwise overlooked. Krista Mastrangelo, a CCSD English Language Arts teacher provided a light-hearted keynote speech to inspire each student to continue writing. Congratulations to the 2016-2017 CCSD Writing Fair Winners.
