Gifted Students Create Rubik’s Cube Masterpiece

Cobb Gifted Students Featured on 11 Alive News!

The third grade gifted students at Mountain View Elementary created a Rubik’s cube mosaic of Martin Luther King Jr using 225 cubes.  Under the guidance of their Target teacher, Stephanie Clatterbaugh, the students worked collaboratively to problem-solve and think critically.  The 11 Alive News team learned of the students’ incredible work via Twitter and featured them in a morning news segment. Rubik’s cubes are often used in Cobb gifted service models to encourage evaluative reasoning and perseverance.
