Service Learning to Benefit RIPPLE Africa

The fifth grade gifted students at King Springs Elementary School are making a difference across the globe. These students have worked on a service learning project benefiting RIPPLE Africa. The purpose of RIPPLE Africa is to improve the environment and education in Malawi, Africa. The efforts and instruction for this service learning project was guided by Target teachers, Julie Murphy and Allison Powell. The Cobb County School District is committed to service learning and global thinking as components of the gifted education curriculum.
