It’s that time of year again! The CCSD Writing Fair is right around the corner, and students all over Cobb have been busily putting pen and pencil to paper in order to ready their entries for this annual, prestigious competition which has been engaging Georgia students for more than two decades. The Cobb ELA team often quotes literary leaders Pam Allyn and Lester Laminack’s statement that “reading is like breathing in, and writing is like breathing out,” and, in this case, CCSD students are surely blowing a breath of fresh air as they exercise their freedom to express ideas through the written word. We applaud their efforts and eagerly look forward to reading their thoughts. Stay tuned for the winners who will be announced in March and celebrated April 18th.
