Summer Enrichment Academy

Cobb’s Summer Enrichment Academy is coming this June!

Cobb will serve high achieving elementary-aged students through it’s Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) in June. This summer marks the fifth year in a row this opportunity has been offered.  About 2,500 high performing third-fifth grade students received an invitation to apply.  Through a lottery process, approximately 550 of the applicants will have an opportunity to attend this optional summer learning experience at one of two Cobb campuses. They are Chalker Elementary and Smyrna Elementary.

The instructional theme changes each year as teachers strive to extend and enrich these capable learners. The theme for 2019 is medieval times.  Students will study customs, architecture, texts and art of the time period.  Critical and creative thinking is stressed each day during lessons and activities.

It’s going to be a great summer full of learning and lots of fun!

Can you please provide the link for the 2019 SEA application? We were provided an invitation, but I have misplaced it. Thanks!
