Murdock READ 180/System 44 Parent Night

Murdock Elementary held its first READ 180/System 44 Parent Night on February 12th

Kathleen Fraley, one of Murdock’s READ 180 teachers led the event. Ms. Fraley gave parents an over view of both programs, modeled how the software works using a program simulator and shared a few program reports. This event was designed to help parents have a better understanding of the reading intervention their students are receiving.

READ 180 is a blended reading intervention program that builds reading comprehension, academic vocabulary and writing skills in students Grades 4 and up. System 44 is a foundational reading program for the most challenged readers in Grades 3 and up that provides explicit instruction in phonics, comprehension and writing.
