High School Summer School

The Personalized Learning Department held High School Summer School at Cobb Horizon High School. Over 200 students were in attendance.

The Personalized Learning Department held High School Summer School at Cobb Horizon High School in June where 209 students were in attendance from across nearly every high school in the district. Students were greeted every morning with breakfast and provided lunch in the afternoon. Fifteen outstanding teachers from across the district provided the students with encouragement and enthusiasm while serving them through a blended learning model. Students completed some of their coursework through a digital platform while teachers led them through other portions of their coursework in mini lessons done with small groups of students. By the end of summer 100% of students earned credit, 91% of students stated that they would recommend summer school to others, and 32 seniors graduated!
