Working at the Car Wash with Preschool!
Liz Estes, SNP teacher at Baker Elementary, and paraprofessional Brandi O’Reilly, made learning fun for their students during a lesson on Transportation. Students drove their own car through a classroom DIY car wash complete with a bubble machine, suds and water, a drying fan, and towels.
Communication, Language, and Literacy Standards were the learning targets of this activity. Students were introduced to new vocabulary, social skills, and sensory experiences. Looks like the kids had a blast at learning. Thanks, Liz and Brandi, for your creativity and for making learning fun and engaging.
