For the last three years the program ELF has been used in several elementary schools.
Approximately 27 elementary schools in the Cobb County School District have spent the last three years implementing an intensive phonics initiative. These efforts are measured every two to three weeks with a brief assessment which is utilized to inform the teacher’s instructional practices. The Early Literacy Framework (ELF) has proven to be a successful venture for the participating students.
