These talented NCHS students graciously shared their gift of song with district leadership.
The North Cobb High School Men’s Quartet, directed by Holly Byrd, was asked to bring their talents to our January L&L meeting at the Kennesaw State University Center for Continuing Education.
This performing group (as well as all the choral groups at NCHS) consistently strives for excellence. Seniors Joshua Dixon, Evyn Milligan, and Reese McGee along with Junior Malcolm Goldsby make up the NCHS Men’s Quartet, and they arrived at the KSU Center around 7:30 AM to make sure they were warmed up and ready for the performance at 8:30 AM. After being introduced by Dr. Joseph Woodruff, Supervisor for General and Choral Music/Theatre/Dance, these four talented gentlemen dazzled the crowd of district administrators with their rendition of our National Anthem. Included in the audience was the principal from North Cobb High School, Matt Moody. After the performance, he quickly headed the group off in the lobby for a heartfelt congratulations and thanks!
Although there are many talented groups in our schools across the district, these gentlemen from NCHS display the attitude of consummate professionals. They shared their talents and love of music with an altruistic demeanor.
