It is time to apply to Georgia Tech.’s Distance Calculus courses for the 2020-2021 school year! The fall course is Linear Algebra and the spring course is Multivariable Calculus. If you have earned a 4-5 on the AP Calculus BC exam, have a 3.5+ GPA, SAT 1410-1540 or ACT 32-35, then these courses may be for you! Applications open May 15 and are due on June 15, 2020. Students will be notified of acceptance by July 17, 2020. Check with your local counselor regarding applications. The mathematics distance learning courses for students to take typically during their senior year are Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus for students that have completed AP Calculus BC. Students attend their local high school or a satellite school and attend the courses online. The application may be found at: http://admission.gatech.edu/dual-enrollment. Applications are available in May and submitted in June of each year. Students are notified in July of acceptance. The courses begin mid-August and students attend class first thing in the morning. Let’s increase the number this school year!
High school students applied to attend Georgia Tech through Distance Learning in May of 2019. Over 80 students from Allatoona, Campbell, Kell, Harrison, Hillgrove, Kennesaw Mt., Lassiter, Pope, Walton, and Wheeler were accepted for the 2019-20 school year.
