Thanks to all schools who participated in our “Kids Heart Challenge”.
Several of our schools participated in the annual “Kids Heart Challenge” this year. Teachers and students all over the county have raised funds to promote a healthy heart while supporting the American Heart Association. Some ideas included the importance of drinking water, exercise, eating a healthy snack, as well spreading kindness. Many schools chose a day to wear red for the social and emotional aspect of the heart. The schools also engaged in several fun activities such as jump roping, dancing and basketball.
Thanks to all schools who participated in our “Kids Heart Challenge”. The Kids Heart Challenge prepares students for success by supporting their physical and emotional well-being. The American Heart Association has pulled together step-by-step instructions for physical education instructors, coaches or teachers to host fun activities in your school with engaging educational modules that teach heart-healthy information to your students.
