Take a peek inside Lewis Elementary’s PreK classroom.
Preschool students at Lewis Elementary are “falling” into learning . Ms. Pair’s students are mixing up special activities with her students with activities full of fun and engagement.
Ms. Pair’s SNP classroom has been learning all about this Fall season. Leaves, weather, spiders, pumpkins and scarecrows …Oh MY!
Students have been busy reading books and participating in lots of learning activities that center around the Fall season. For reading centers, each student has their own story folder that is helping with sequencing and retelling of stories. Math centers engage students with counting and sorting manipulatives. Sensory/fine motor activities are filled with spooky activities at our sensory table where we used lots of spider webs, spiders, pumpkins, and skeletons. Students have also participated in an Indian Corn science experiment and making sparkly spider webs during Art.
Our students are so happy to be back at school and they are truly “Fall”-ing in love with Learning!
