Walton High School visual arts students won the 2020 Wyland National Art Classroom Mural Contest! This is the fourth time Walton art students have won this contest! This year was especially challenging as all work was completed 100% remotely. We are so proud of these students and their collaborative efforts in creating this mural. This contest and the artworks created serve as a reminder of the power of the visual arts to communicate significant messages. This mural in particular shares the importance of clean ocean waters and the harm pollution causes to marine animals and other creatures living in the ocean.
