As library media specialists, our primary focus is preparing students for college and careers through collaborative lessons with teachers, instructional best practices, and technology integration. By infusing information literacy skills with content standards, as well as encouraging creativity and problem-solving through innovative programming, our library media programs positively impact student engagement and achievement. We also promote reading by recommending books according to student interest, providing access to print and digital books, and sharing our own passion for reading with others.Click here to learn more about the LME Department. The CCSD Library Media Education department consists of over 100 media specialists, a district supervisor, and a part-time secretary. |
